Dispatch and Delivery
We use one of the UK's leading independent courier companies, Lynx Express, who score consistently well in surveys on reliability.
Orders placed by 1pm Monday - Friday.
Dispatch will normally be the same day. For orders placed after 1pm Friday, or at any time on Saturday/Sunday, goods will be dispatched the following Monday. Delivery should take no more than two working (ie Monday -Friday) days. If goods are not received within that timescale, please phone us. The couriers will require a signature, so if there will be no-one at home on the possible delivery days, please leave a card at the door with a signed notification to leave the goods with either a designated neighbour, friend or relative nearby, or in a location at the delivery address where you consider the goods will be secure. It is important that the courier can take away this notification. In the absence of such instructions the courier will leave you a contact card for you to arrange re-delivery.
We make a standard charge for purchases made on-line. The charge is £9.95, which reflects our actual average costs. We do not add any premium or service charge. If you telephone through your order, you will be charged regular carriage fees. It is good value to buy on-line! (Regular carriage fees are available on request).
For urgent deliveries, we can offer a guaranteed by noon next day or Saturday am delivery on payment of a premium. Please phone us for a quote.
Please note: Standard courier charges apply to England, Wales and parts of Scotland. The Highlands and Islands, off-shore islands (including the Isle of Wight and the Isle of Man), Northern Ireland and Channel Islands are all subject to a delivery premium (postcodes AB, IV, KW, HS, KA, PH, PA2): please contact us for an accurate quote. Or, if you proceed to check out and you live in one of the postcode areas, we will contact you to arrange payment of the supplement. This is a charge levied by Lynx Express.
If you are purchasing an item which may be very light in weight, it may be more cost effective for you to call our sales team on 0118 944 1418, and enquire into regular postage. This option is available to you, but you must phone us to arrange this.
